Barako Kyudojo organises practice days and open programmes. In addition, there are programmes taking place abroad. Barako members regularly visit programmes in Münster (Germany) and Mas Marvant (France), where the Dechen Chöling Buddhist centre is located (www.dechencholing.org). An open one-week programme for all European students is held annually at Dechen Chöling under the guidance of Kanjuro Shibata Sensei.

In July 2024, a special Shinto ceremony was held, to honor the Kami tree in Buddhist center Dechen Chöling in France, and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the European Kyudo program. With funding from Oko Europe and Oko Kyudojo, a short film was made about this ceremony and the kyudo community.
